Wins top prize on Lottery’s 10x Cash scratch-off
A cup of coffee in one hand and a Maryland Lottery 10x Cash scratch-off in the other was a winning combination for a Sykesville man. The loyal player’s purchase wound up worth $10,000!
The Carroll County resident bought the single scratch-off at Royal Farms #34 at 15 Hanover Pike in Reisterstown. “I figured I’d try one of the 10x Cash tickets because I knew they had a lot of $10,000 prizes,” he said. “I thought I may win something like 50 bucks or something, but never this. This is such a blessing.”
The unexpected win comes at a great time.
“This is so exciting because I really needed the money,” he said, explaining that he was out of work earlier this year due to a car accident. “This money definitely adds a bit of a cushion for me.”
In addition to paying bills, the excited winner may treat himself to dinner at one of his favorite restaurants. The 10x Cash scratch-off has 40 top prizes of $10,000 remaining.
