A west Baltimore woman running an errand for her mother at the corner store just happened to meet up with a generous benefactor – Lady Luck – while buying items that included one 50X The Cash scratch-off
“Nisha” is an avid Lottery player who regularly buys scratch-offs and has won small amounts in the past. She didn’t anticipate that a big win was coming when she bought her lucky ticket. Back at home, the 21-year-old scratched off the colorful $10 instant ticket and was “a little shocked,” she said, when it revealed a 20x winning number over a prize of $500.
The happy player plans to put her prize in the bank because she is getting ready to board a cruise ship for work. As a student at the Baltimore School of Massage, Nisha will gain on-the-job training aboard the ship. The scratch-off prize will help her continue her studies after the cruise and fulfill her dream of working in sports massage.
