Crownsville Retailer Sells $50,000 Bonus Match 5 Ticket

Tenth top-tier ticket sold in 2015

Happy Friday, Bonus Match 5 players! We’ve got a winner and it could be you! The Maryland Lottery is looking for the lucky player holding a $50,000 winning ticket from the Thursday, April 2 drawing. The winning ticket was sold by Waterbury Liquors at 1021 Generals Highway in Crownsville.

This is the 10th top-prize winning Bonus Match 5 ticket sold in 2015 and matches the five numbers of 1, 4, 16, 24, 26; the Bonus Ball was 2. The winner will walk away with the entire $50,000 due to a taxes-paid promotion underway now through April 16. In addition, the Lottery has a doubler promotion in progress. The winner could have a $100,000 prize coming if the ticket carries a “Doubler!” message on the top.

Lottery officials urge the winner to sign the back of the ticket and put it in a safe place. The winner has 182 days to claim the prize and must come in person to Lottery headquarters at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore.

The retailer is also a winner; the Lottery will give the store a bonus of $500 for selling the lucky ticket.

Bonus Match 5 drawings take place seven days a week. Players select five numbers ranging from one to 39. The Bonus Ball drawn from the remaining 34 numbers provides extra chances to win. Your ticket is a winner if you match five, four or three of the original five winning numbers selected in the drawing. If you match the Bonus Ball number, you only need to match four, three or two of your original numbers to win!
