Cruise For Cash: The Gift That Keeps on Giving

Ellen Browning - Cruise for CashEllen and Don Browning, from Baltimore, will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary on December 31, 2011. They will be celebrating in style, with a seven-night cruise vacation, thanks to their long-time friends.  Last night at dinner, their good friends gave Ellen a Cruise for Cash scratch-off ticket.  “They know that my husband and I love to play Lottery games,” Ellen said.

As soon as they got home, 52-year-old Ellen scratched the ticket. “I get too overwhelmed when I play, so I always give my tickets to my husband to check.”  After looking at the ticket, Don simply told his wife, “You may want to sit down because you just won a cruise.”  They haven’t had a chance to tell their friends yet that the won. “This was our first stop,” Don told officials at Lottery Headquarters. The winning ticket was purchased at Bi-Rite Liquors, located at 1540-42 Country Ridge Lane in Baltimore.
