Delaware Man Among Three $50,000 Ravens Cash Fantasy Winners

Winners selected during final second-chance contest drawing

James Marine wasn’t sure what to make of the call from Lottery officials telling him he had won $50,000. The 75-year-old had entered around 20 Ravens Cash Fantasy scratch-offs into the second-chance contest, but never expected he would actually win a prize. After additional verification, it was clear that Marine, along with Annette Divelbliss of Mt. Airy and Scott Smith of Glen Burnie, was a $50,000 winner.

The Seaford, DE winner relocated from Hurlock in 1982, but still has a strong affection for his Baltimore sports teams. Marine said his support of the Baltimore Ravens was one of the reasons he decided to play the game.

After registering a handful of tickets, Marine didn’t think too much of his entries until he received the call from Lottery officials last week.

Marine says he and his wife of 32 years plan to use the prize money to pay some bills and travel. They also plan to share their fortune with their family and church.

The final Ravens Cash Fantasy second-chance drawing was conducted on January 20th. Winners were randomly selected out of more than 340,000 entries. In addition to the three $50,000 winners, Helen Yu from Lutherville won 2015 season tickets and Gary Faykes from Columbia was selected as the last of six finalists for the seats for 20 years prize. The lucky winner of that coveted prize will be announced on February 11 at M&T Bank Stadium, in the presence of all six finalists. Each finalist also received $10,000.
