Turns $30,000 into $60,000 Due to $2 Top Prize Doubler Promotion

Twice in the past two days Wendy Tilmes has collapsed, fallen to the ground in disbelief.  It first happened yesterday when she realized the scratch-off ticket she’d just scratched was a $30,000 winner and again this morning, when she was told that her win was going to be doubled.

Among the gifts Wendy received for her recent birthday were Maryland Lottery tickets, including Blackout Bingo scratch-offs.  She told Lottery officials that the game was her favorite, one she played often.  Wendy, who works in a hospital emergency room, knew immediately that the ticket was a winner and, according to her friend, her face turned white and her legs gave way beneath her.  “I just couldn’t believe it,” Wendy reported, “I think I passed out for a moment.”

She visited Lottery headquarters this morning and again found herself on the floor.  “When they told me about this promotion, about how my prize would be doubled – it happened all over again.” Wendy’s $30,000 Blackout Bingo win became $60,000 due to a Lottery promotion that doubles the top prizes on all $2 scratch tickets.  The offer runs through July 31st.

Thanks to this win, Wendy’s home will soon have a new air conditioning and her son a new iPad.  The lucky winner is not sure about the rest, but has plenty of time to decide.  Her lucky store is Jack’s Fine Food at 4519 Kenwood Avenue in Baltimore.
