Second progressive top prize winner sold in less than a week
For the second time in five days, a lucky Maryland Lottery player bought a progressive top-prize FAST PLAY Lucky Numbers winning ticket. This prize, worth $117,567, was sold in Hagerstown on March 22. The Lucky Numbers game still has 35 progressive top prizes remaining.
The winning ticket was purchased at Sheetz #184 located at 12404 Lager Avenue in Hagerstown. The Washington County retailer will earn a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery for selling the top-prize winning ticket.
Lottery officials recommend the winner sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until claiming the prize at Lottery headquarters located at 1800 Washington Boulevard in Baltimore. The Lottery’s Customer Resource Center is operating under abbreviated hours, and is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays; and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays.
Winning tickets can also be redeemed by mail, using the mail-in claim form available on the How To Claim page of mdlottery.com.
The four other Lucky Numbers top-prize winners are:
- 11: Anonymous Eastern Shore woman claims $117,626 prize.
- 25: Fred Nash of Edgewood claims $207,611 prize.
- 26: Anonymous Baltimore County man claims $102,303 prize.

Lucky Numbers is one of five FAST PLAY games that went on sale statewide on Feb. 10. FAST PLAY is a new Maryland Lottery product featuring instant-win games that are printed by Lottery terminals and self-service vending machines but play like scratch-offs. Also in the lineup are the $1 Piggy Bank Bucks, $2 Cherry Twist, $3 Treasure Chase and $5 Hit $250 games.
The $10 Lucky Numbers game features a progressive top prize, which starts at $100,000 and increases with the purchase of each ticket until a top-prize winning ticket is sold. The top prize amount is updated every 15 minutes on in-store video displays and on mdlottery.com, and an up-to-the-minute figure is displayed on Lucky Numbers tickets.
