A Carroll County man who played a Maryland Lottery FAST PLAY game made a fast run to Lottery headquarters to claim his $138,442 prize. The 68-year-old found Lottery luck playing the Cold Hard Cash progressive jackpot game.
The Finksburg resident found his prize-packed ticket at Sheetz #132 located at 40 Antrim Boulevard in Taneytown. Cold Hard Cash is one of 20 FAST PLAY games and it offers a progressive jackpot prize. The progressive jackpot grows with each ticket sold until a player wins.
The Cold Hard Cash game is packed with prizes, including 38 more progressive jackpot prizes. Progressive jackpots for this game start at $100,000.
Sheetz #132 also has reason to celebrate. The Carroll County store will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling a jackpot-winning ticket.
