Mega Millions, scratch-offs deliver big wins in Baltimore City, Harford, Montgomery, Washington counties
Five winners visited Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore during the last week of December and first week of January to claim the following prizes:
A Mega Millions player from Silver Spring claimed $10,021 in prizes on a Quick-Pick ticket he purchased on Nov. 1, 2017 that covered 10 drawings. In the Nov. 21 drawing, he matched four of the first five numbers that were drawn and the Mega Ball, giving him a $10,000 prize. He won an additional $12 from the other nine drawings on his ticket, which he purchased at Old World Favorites, located at 3854 International Drive in Silver Spring.
A Bel Air man won $10,000 on Winter Ice Multiplier, one of the Lottery’s five 2017 holiday-themed instant tickets. He bought his lucky ticket at MacPhail Exxon, located at 600 West MacPhail Road in Bel Air. The holiday-themed $10 ticket launched Oct. 23, and five of its $100,000 top prizes remain unclaimed, along with 14 more $10,000 prizes and thousands of other prizes ranging from $10 to $1,000. Winter Ice Multiplier is joined by four other 2017 holiday-themed instant games, and players can enter any non-winning 2017 holiday scratch-off into the Warehouse Dash second-chance contest through Jan. 18, 2018. Twelve winners will be randomly selected to receive a trip to Chicago and a 90-second dash through a warehouse full of prizes. The contest will also award cash prizes or books of scratch-off tickets to 250 additional winners.
A Baltimore man won $10,000 on a $20 Cash Explosion ticket he bought at BJ’s Wholesale Club, located at 4701 O’Donnell Street in Baltimore City. Cash Explosion launched in August, and six of its $1 million top prizes remain unclaimed along with 11 $50,000 prizes, 46 more $10,000 prizes and thousands of additional prizes ranging from $20 to $5,000.
A resident of Fairplay in Washington County was a $10,000 winner on the $100,000 Crossword scratch-off game. She purchased the lucky $10 ticket at AC&T #190, located at 16504 Virginia Avenue in Hagerstown. The $100,000 Crossword game launched in November, and seven of its $100,000 top prizes remain unclaimed along with 13 more $10,000 prizes and thousands of additional prizes ranging from $10 to $1,000.
The $5 Deluxe Crossword game delivered a $10,000 prizes for a Montgomery Village woman who bought her winning ticket at Quince Orchard Shell, located at 501 Quince Orchard Road in Gaithersburg. Deluxe Crossword launched in December, and all nine of its $50,000 top prizes remain unclaimed along with 21 more $10,000 prizes and thousands of additional prizes ranging from $5 to $1,000.
