Fort Washington Man Gets Early $625,000 Christmas Surprise

Wins Top-Tier $625,000 Multi-Match Jackpot Prize

An excited Fort Washington man celebrated Christmas early when he matched all six Multi-Match numbers last Thursday and took home the $625,000 top-tier jackpot prize.

“The next day, I went to a convenience store near my house to check my numbers, and to my surprise, I matched all of them,” he said. “When I realized that I had won, I was in such disbelief. It was such a surreal moment for me.” The lucky winner’s winning numbers were 5-12-32-36-37-39.

The winner told Lottery officials that although he doesn’t play Multi-Match often, he’s thrilled he decided to take a chance when he saw how high the jackpot was. “The highest I ever won was $7,600 playing Racetrax but this win is so much better.”

The 50-year-old IT manager said he’ll pay bills, help family members including his daughter who is in college, and put the rest in his savings. The Multi-Match jackpot has been hit ten times this year, which is four more than last year. The winning ticket was purchased at Lee’s Convenient Market on Allentown Road in Fort Washington.
