The “funny feeling” that prompted a Bel Air man to buy scratch-offs while grocery shopping led to his lucky $10,000 win on the Maryland Lottery’s popular 10x Cash scratch-off. The entrepreneur told Lottery officials that he is thankful for the sixth sense that led him to the instant ticket’s top prize.
The Harford County resident found his Lottery luck while shopping with his wife at Klein’s ShopRite #549, which is located at 5 Bel Air South Parkway in Bel Air. As they worked their way down the aisles, he felt a “funny feeling” that he should purchase scratch-offs. Shortly after making the purchase, he headed to his car and scratched off the first 10x Cash instant ticket. His first ticket was the big winner!
The local businessman then headed back to work. He plans to use his prize to reinvest in his business to improve its cash flow.
