Finds $20,000 prize on $10 scratch-off

A Maryland Lottery scratch-off fan is $20,000 richer after claiming a prize he won on the $100 Grand scratch-off.

The Anne Arundel County resident, who works as a barber, is happy about his brush with Lottery luck. The big win puts the 54-year-old one step closer to opening his own business and enables him to provide his wife, children and grandchildren with a happier holiday.

The Glen Burnie resident and grandfather of three is an avid Lottery player. His visit to Crossroad Exxon located at 8101 Ritchie Highway in Pasadena put him in the right spot at the right time to buy his lucky instant ticket. There are still plenty of prizes in the $10 game for other players to find, including six $100,000 top prizes, seven more $20,000 prizes and thousands of others ranging from $10 to $10,000.
