Jackpot Rolls to $81 million for Friday’s Drawing
The Maryland Lottery is looking for its newest Mega Millions millionaire! Check your ticket if you bought it in Greenbelt for the Tuesday, April 29 drawing. One lucky Maryland player matched five of the winning numbers in the drawing to capture the $1 million second-tier prize.
The winning ticket sold at Greenway Liquors at 7533 Greenbelt Road carries the numbers 7-43-59-61-66. The Mega ball number for the drawing was 3 and the optional Megaplier number was 3. The retailer will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the ticket. Our lucky winner has 182 days after the drawing to claim the prize at Maryland Lottery headquarters at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore.
Nationally, more than 1.2 million tickets were winners. No one won the Mega Millions jackpot, which rolled to $81 million for the Friday drawing with a cash option of $45.6 million.
