Finds top prize on Super Triple 10s game
A mother of two from Hebron who plays Maryland Lottery scratch-offs “all the time” saw Lady Luck reward her loyalty this week. The “Happy Homemaker,” as the winner dubbed herself, won a $100,000 top prize on the Super Triple 10s instant ticket.
The 25-year-old visited Shore Stop #221 in Rock Hall on her lucky day and asked the clerk for one $10 scratch-off. The Super Triple 10s game that came her way didn’t reveal its big win until she was in her car, alone, scratching off the instant ticket. The first thing the surprised mom did after she saw the prize was phone her husband. The happy dad, along with their children and nephew, accompanied the Wicomico County resident to Lottery headquarters in Baltimore Friday to claim her prize.
The winnings will go to pay off bills, boost their savings account and take the family to Disney World, the Happy Homemaker said.
Also happy about her win is the Kent County retailer. For selling a top-prize scratch-off in the game, Shore Stop #221, located at 21340 Rock Hall Avenue in Rock Hall, will receive a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery. The Super Triple 10s game still has lots of unclaimed prizes, including four more $100,000 prizes, 16 $10,000 prizes and thousands of others ranging from $10 to $1,000.
