Lucky tickets sold in July 1, July 2 drawings
If you played Bonus Match 5 last weekend at Maryland Lottery retailers in Bethesda or Baltimore, now is the time to check your tickets. We’re looking for the two lucky winners in the Saturday, July 1 and Sunday, July 2 drawings!
Lady Luck kicked off the winning weekend at Westlake Wine & Beer located at 10442 Auto Park Avenue in Bethesda. The Montgomery County retailer sold the top-prize winning ticket in the July 1 drawing with the numbers of 1, 13, 20, 26 and 30; the Bonus Ball was 15.
Next up was 7-Eleven #39243 located at 3436 Wilkens Avenue in Baltimore. That Lottery retailer sold a winning ticket in the July 2 drawing with the numbers of 2, 4, 10, 16 and 22; the Bonus Ball was 6.
Lottery officials urge the winners to sign the back of the tickets and put them in a safe place. Winners have 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize and must come in person to Lottery headquarters at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore.
The retailers are also winners! The Lottery will give each retailer a bonus of $500 for selling the top-prize ticket in the game.
Bonus Match 5 drawings take place seven days a week. Players select five numbers ranging from one to 39. The Bonus Ball drawn from the remaining 34 numbers provides extra chances to win. Your ticket is a winner if you match five, four or three of the original five winning numbers selected in the drawing. If you match the Bonus Ball number, you only need to match four, three or two of your original numbers to win!
