Three states have second-tier winners

Players in Florida, Maryland and New York matched five of the six winning numbers in the drawing to capture the second-tier prize. No one won the Powerball jackpot, which rolls to $80 million for the Saturday, Feb. 28 drawing with a cash option of $52.3 million.
Check your ticket to see if it carries the winning numbers of 17-19-21-32-39. The Power Ball was 08. Lottery officials encourage the winner to sign the back of the ticket immediately and put it in a safe location.
This $1 million win is the fifth second-tier Powerball win of 2015.
For selling the second-tier winning ticket, Richburn Discount Liquors at 6030 Foreland Garth in Columbia receives a $2,500 bonus. The winner has 182 days to claim the prize in person at Lottery headquarters, located at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore.
Nationally, more than 437,504 Powerball tickets were winners. Maryland saw 10,093 players win prizes ranging from the $1 million second-tier win down to $4. The 1,259 Marylanders who paid the extra $1 to add Power Play to the $2 ticket saw the prize increase by 3.
