Howard County Retailer Sells $50,040 Winning Powerball Double Play Ticket

Player bought ticket in Nov. 13 drawing

Congratulations to our newest Powerball Double Play winner. A lucky player bought a $50,040 winning ticket in the Saturday, Nov. 13 drawing from a Howard County retailer.

Check your ticket if you added the Double Play feature to a ticket purchased at Maple Lawn Market, located at 8181 Maple Lawn Boulevard in Fulton. The winning numbers in the Nov. 13 Double Play drawing were 13, 16, 28, 37 and 60; the Powerball was 7. Our winner was the only one in Maryland to capture the third-tier prize in the Nov. 13 drawing, and one of two players nationwide to do so. Maryland had 2,705 total Double Play winners in the drawing.

Lottery officials encourage all winners to sign the backs of their tickets immediately and put them in a safe location. Winners get 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim prizes.

Instructions on claiming prizes in person or by mail are available HERE. Players must redeem prizes larger than $25,000 at Lottery headquarters in the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330 in Baltimore. The Lottery’s Claims Center in Baltimore is open by appointment only (no walk-ins). Click here to schedule an appointment.

No one won the Powerball jackpot, which rolled to $180 million for the drawing tonight, Monday, Nov. 15. The cash option is $130.1 million.

Double Play is a second drawing that occurs about 30 minutes after every Powerball drawing. Adding the $1 Double Play option to a Powerball ticket gives players the chance to win up to $10 million in the Double Play drawing.
