Silver Spring retailer sells top-prize winner on 20x the Cash game
A Prince George’s County man has 50,000 reasons to celebrate his lucky decision to buy a 20x the Cash scratch-off at a Silver Spring convenience store.
The 63-year-old landed one of the game’s $50,000 top prizes! The Hyattsville resident, who plays scratch-offs frequently, discovered his Lottery luck waiting at W Express.
This $5 game gives players two chances to win cash prizes. They can win up to $50,000 with the instant ticket or win up to $50,000 through the Multiplier Madness second-chance contest. A member of the Lottery’s Multiplier Family of Games, the 20x the Cash scratch-off is joined by the 5x the Cash, 10x the Cash and 50x the Cash games.
Non-winning Multiplier tickets can be entered into the second-chance contest on My Lottery Rewards, where the cash prizes include $5,000, $10,000, $20,000 and $50,000. The next two drawings take place April 3 and May 1.
The 20x the Cash game launched in January, and there are still eight more $50,000 top prizes along with thousands of other prizes ranging from $5 to $5,000.
Also in the money is the lucky retailer. W Express located at 8550 Piney Branch Road in Silver Spring will receive a $500 bonus from the Lottery for selling the lucky ticket.
