Keno Queen Wins Big Playing Pharaoh’s Gold Scratch-off

A 61-year-old Baltimore woman, who is often referred to as the “Keno Queen” by friends and family, struck gold but not playing Keno. She decided to switch her Lottery play up a bit and purchased a Pharaoh’s Gold scratch-off ticket! Lucky for her she did. She won a $30,000 top-tier prize!

“I was actually playing Keno at the time and while my games were going on, I decided to buy the Pharaoh’s Gold ticket,” she said. “Once I realized I had won, I just started screaming ‘I won, I won!’”

The lucky winner, who faithfully plays Keno every Friday night, is certainly no stranger to winning. She won a $1,800 Keno prize just last year. She told Lottery officials that she plans to pay a few bills and redo the interior of her home. “This win is certainly a blessing for me,” she said. “This will cut my debt in half. The winning ticket was purchased at Liquor Pump on Old Harford Road in Baltimore.
