Lottery Dream Comes True with $30,000 Win for Windsor Mill Woman

Claims top prize on Super Tic Tac Toe game

Even after completing the formal claiming process at Maryland Lottery headquarters, a retired Baltimore County woman still had doubts about her $30,000 scratch-off win. Her doubt began the moment she revealed her top-prize win on a Super Tic Tac Toe instant ticket. Dreams don’t come true every day, after all!

“I just love the Tic Tac Toe tickets,” said the 69-year-old. “I get one or two whenever I see them.” She never expects to win big, however. The fun of playing and the delight when she wins an occasional small prize keep her interested.

“I’ve never been a lucky person when it comes to games and contests,” she said. Well, she sure can’t claim that any longer!

Her lucky story begins when she stopped by Rolling Road BP in Woodlawn last week. The Windsor Mill resident saw her favorite instant tickets and asked for four of the $3 Super Tic Tac Toe scratch-offs. The lucky lady scratched them later at home while visiting with her daughter and granddaughter.

“It was the third Super Tic Tac Toe ticket,” she said. “I just sat there, staring at it. I was about to show my daughter but didn’t. I wanted to study the ticket more to make sure.”  Eventually, she was 90% convinced of her top-prize win and turned to her daughter, saying, “I think I just won $30,000!”

The winner plans to use her prize to buy a new car. Also celebrating over a $300 Lottery bonus for selling the top-prize winning scratch-off is Rolling Road BP, located at 2202 North Rolling Road in Woodlawn.

The Super Tic Tac Toe game debuted in March and still has five $30,000 prizes awaiting discovery.
