The rain on Saturday didn’t damper the spirits of 31 Lottery winners who participated in the $100,000 State Fair Giveaway. Thirty finalists were selected to participate in the event through a My Lottery Rewards contest. One lucky participant was selected during a bonus drawing the day of the event at the State Fair.
At the event, players were randomly selected to participate in a variety of games. Three lucky winners were chosen as finalists to spin a large, colorful wheel in the grand prize round. Two finalists — Quinton Stewart from Washington, DC and Michele Henderson from Waldorf — both won $20,000. Tracy Sewell from Baltimore took home $13,000. Even if their name was not selected to play a game, they did not leave empty handed. All participants won at least $500.
