A jolly, holly holiday is ahead for the youngest members of a Baltimore man’s family, thanks to his $10,000 win on the Maryland Lottery’s Lucky Millionaire scratch-off.
Loyal Lottery player Michael Henley found his lucky $20 ticket at Erdman Liquors, which is located at 3931 Erdman Avenue in Baltimore. He picked the ticket for a reason. “I wanted that $1 million!”
The 57-year-old former warehouse worker bought the ticket, quietly left the store with it and scratched it off in his car. What was his reaction to winning $10,000? The quiet man admits to shouting with happiness and celebrating when he revealed the prize!
After paying bills, he plans to spend his prize on gifts to give the children in his family a wonderful holiday, Michael said. The happy player also plans to continue enjoying his Maryland Lottery games, such as Pick 3, Pick 4 and scratch-offs.
