Lottery Seeking Winners of Two Expiring $50,000 Tickets

Heads up, Lottery players: Time is running out to claim two $50,000 winning tickets from the March 29 Powerball drawing and March 30 Bonus Match 5 drawing. Players have 182 days after drawings to claim their prizes and the deadlines are Sept. 27 (end of day) for the Powerball ticket and Sept. 28 (end of day) for the Bonus Match 5 ticket.

To claim the prizes in person, bring the winning ticket and required identification (listed at to the Maryland Lottery Customer Resource Center at 1800 Washington Boulevard in Baltimore. Details on how to claim the prize by mail are online at or call 410-230-8730.

The lucky $50,000 winning ticket in the Wednesday, March 29 Powerball drawing was sold at Royal Farms #93 located at 1915 Belair Road in Fallston. The winning numbers in the drawing were 8, 15, 31, 36 and 62; the Power Ball was 11. The winning ticket was the only $50,000 winner sold in Maryland for the March 29 drawing, and was one of 13 $50,000 winners nationwide.

Friendship Liquors in West Friendship sold the winning Bonus Match 5 ticket in the Thursday, March 30 drawing. The lucky ticket matches the five numbers of 2, 19, 20, 27, 30; the Bonus Ball was 26. The Howard County store is located at 12800 Frederick Road.

By law, all unclaimed Lottery prizes go to the Unclaimed Prize Fund, which must be used exclusively for player prizes.
