Lottery Seeks Winners of $725,000 in Bonus Match 5, Multi-Match Prizes

Three top-prize tickets remain unclaimed

The Maryland Lottery has $725,000 waiting to be claimed, and if you’ve played Bonus Match 5 or Multi-Match recently, some of that money may be yours.

There are two unclaimed Bonus Match 5 top prizes of $50,000 and an unclaimed Multi-Match jackpot of $625,000, so check your tickets, because you may be holding a big winner.

The winning Multi-Match ticket was sold at Snow’s Turn Goose Creek, 1801 Race Street in Cambridge for the June 29 drawing. The winning numbers were 1, 5, 11, 15, 17 and 26.

The two unclaimed Bonus Match 5 top prizes were sold at the following locations:

Shell, 9280 All Saints Road in Laurel for the May 26 drawing; winning numbers: 1, 3, 8, 18, 28, Bonus Ball 38.
St. John’s Sunoco, 11701 Reisterstown Road in Reisterstown for the July 3 drawing; winning numbers 5, 10, 16, 31, 38, Bonus Ball 12.

The winners of all Lottery drawing games have 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes, and may do so in person at Lottery headquarters at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore. If you are holding one of the winning tickets, Lottery officials urge you to sign the back of the ticket and store it in a safe place until you are able to claim your prize.

Multi-Match is Maryland’s in-state lotto-style game, with drawings held every Monday and Thursday night. The jackpots start at $500,000 and build until a winning ticket is sold. The jackpot-winning ticket sold in Cambridge was the second Multi-Match jackpot hit of the year. A Pasadena man won a $3.6 million Multi-Match jackpot in the drawing held June 8.

Multi-Match is a $2 game in which tickets have three lines of six numbers. The Lottery draws six numbers between 1 and 43, and players who match three, four or five numbers on any one line win up to $1,000. Match between five and 18 numbers on all three lines combined to win up to $2,000 more. To win the jackpot, players must match all six numbers on any one line.

Bonus Match 5 drawings take place seven days a week. Players select five numbers ranging from 1 to 39. The Bonus Ball drawn from the remaining 34 numbers provides extra chances to win. Your ticket is a winner if you match five, four or three of the original five winning numbers selected in the drawing. If you match the Bonus Ball number, you only need to match four, three or two of your original numbers to win.
