Scratch-offs and second-chance promotion launch today
The Maryland Lottery and the Baltimore Ravens are collaborating for the 11th consecutive year to launch Ravens-themed scratch-offs and a second-chance promotion. For the first time, the Lottery is offering a $10 Ravens scratch-off, pairing it with a $2 ticket. Both tickets are on sale starting today.
In addition to the return of fan-favorite second-chance prizes like season tickets for 20 years and a road trip with the team, a fun and exciting new Pass for Cash On-field Experience prize will join the promotional lineup.
The $10 Ravens ticket features 12 top prizes of $100,000 – seven more top prizes than there were on last year’s $5 Ravens ticket. The $2 ticket also has 12 top prizes of $20,000 – two more than last year’s $2 ticket. The scratch-offs will be sold at Lottery retail locations across the state and at every Baltimore Ravens home game. New this year is a unique special effects printing process on the $10 ticket that features a holographic Ravens logo.
“We’re pleased to continue our longstanding relationship with the Baltimore Ravens,” said Maryland Lottery and Gaming Director Gordon Medenica. “Our players genuinely look forward to the launch of the Ravens tickets every year, and we’re proud to provide a chance to win once-in-a-lifetime experiences.”
To enter the second-chance promotion, players can submit non-winning Ravens scratch-offs into their My Lottery Rewards accounts, and then choose which second-chance prize category they would like to enter. Each non-winning $10 ticket offers 10 second-chance contest entries, while each non-winning $2 ticket will give players two second-chance entries. Here are the promotion details:
- – Six grand prize finalists will each win $10,000, and one of those six will win season tickets for 20 years.
- – Six additional winners will each receive $10,000.
- – Two winners will travel with the team to see the Ravens take on the Los Angeles Rams on Nov. 25.
- – Four winners will each receive season tickets for 2019 Ravens home games, plus a $500 shopping spree in the team store.
- – Ten winners will each win season tickets for 2020 Ravens home games, plus $250 in Ravens Bucks, which can be used for food and merchandise purchases at the stadium on game days.
- – Ten winners will be selected participate in the Ravens Pass for Cash On-field Experience.
The Ravens Pass for Cash On-field Experience is a new prize category this year. One winner will be selected for each pre-season and regular-season home game. Each winner will receive:
- – Two lower level game tickets, pre-game hospitality passes and a parking pass;
- – A cash prize of $5,000;
- – A customized Ravens jersey; and
- – The opportunity to participate in a Ravens on-field promotion, sponsored by the Maryland Lottery, with a chance to win up to $25,000.
