Lucky Baltimore Nurse in Uncharted Waters over Big Keno Win

Plans to spend $10,000 prize toward boat purchase

A nurse from Baltimore who enjoys crabbing and fishing in her spare time plans to start shopping for a boat now that she’s won $10,000 playing Keno.

The 50-year-old found her lucky ticket when she stopped at Cheema Brothers BP in Baltimore to buy gas. While there, the loyal player decided to spend $2 on an 8 spot Keno ticket. She plays Maryland Lottery games regularly, especially Keno, and usually picks the same set of numbers. On her lucky day, however, the winner decided to play random numbers and that resulted in her biggest Lottery prize ever.

“OMG! I can’t believe it. Not me,” she said in disbelief about her win. She has shared news of her good fortune with a few friends and family members. Cheema Brothers BP located at 17 Carroll Island Road in Baltimore gets to share in the fun of her win. The Baltimore County Lottery retailer will receive a $100 bonus for selling a winning Keno ticket of $10,000.
