Lucky Davidsonville Man Is In the Money

Wins $40,000 Playing a 5 Times the Money Scratch-off

Daniel Adams - 5 Times the MoneyDaniel Adams was full of excitement when he visited Lottery Headquarters today. The 48-year-old Davidsonville native won $40,000 playing a 5 Times the Money scratch-off.  The excited winner, accompanied by his girlfriend Tiffany Mickey, told Lottery officials that most of his friends believe he has a horseshoe in his back pocket.

“They just can’t believe I keep winning like I do,” he said. “I just hit for $1200 on a two-spot playing Keno two days ago. It’s my favorite game to play.”

Daniel said that he originally got the winning ticket for his girlfriend because he enjoys seeing her face light up each time he brings a scratch-off ticket home. However, he realized it was not her favorite so that was when he scratched it himself.

“When he told me he won, we must have checked the ticket like ten times,” said Tiffany. The couple said that the money will come in handy when they go on their pre-planned trip to Aruba. Daniel said that he would also like to buy a new car. The winning ticket was purchased at the 7-11 on Davidsonville Rd. in Crofton.
