Lucky Pennsylvania Man is Three-Time Lottery Winner

Claims $50,000 Prize on Bonus Match 5 Drawing

The lucky winner of the Maryland Lottery’s March 8 Bonus Match 5 $50,000 jackpot is no stranger to winning big lottery prizes. In fact, the Pennsylvania resident has won two $50,000 Maryland Lottery scratch-off prizes in the last decade.

“I am on a five-year plan,” said the Red Lion resident, smiling. The 61-year-old won $50,000 playing a $5 scratch-off game in 2004 and, five years later, arrived at the Lottery to claim a $50,000 prize from another $5 scratch-off game. The year 2014 rolls around and, right on schedule, he’s back in the Lottery Winner’s Lounge to claim yet another $50,000 prize!

“I expect to be back in another five years,” said the happy man.

This lucky winner works for a defense company and is contemplating retirement in the near future. He has a grown son who will receive the gift of a motorcycle from his winnings. The rest of his prize will go toward bills and his bank account, the man said.

He bought his winning ticket at Tobacco Etc. at 98 Cranbrook Road in Cockeysville, becoming the 7th Bonus Match 5 $50,000 winner this year. Two winners have yet to come forward to claim their prizes from the Feb. 4 and March 6 drawings. Those tickets were sold at the Sunoco A Plus in North East and the Shore Stop #225 in Hebron, respectively.
