Claims top prize on Poker Showdown game
Winning $100,000 on a Maryland Lottery scratch-off ticket puts a real spring in your step! A Lutherville mother of two was grocery shopping when she bagged the Poker Showdown scratch-off that delivered the largest prize of her life.
The lucky woman, who enjoys playing instant tickets, said she’s won $500 four times. But this $10 ticket, which she purchased at the Mars supermarket at 1811 York Road in Lutherville, will enable her to pay off her bills and put money aside for her children’s college tuition and expenses. The 51-year-old devoted mom dashed off after claiming her prize to pick up her children.
For selling the top–prize ticket in the game, the Baltimore County retailer will receive a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery. There are still two more $100,000 top-prize winners waiting to be claimed, along with seven $10,000 winners and thousands of other winning tickets with prizes ranging from $10 to $1,000.
