Baltimore man becomes second 2020 Cash scratch-off top-prize winner
A Baltimore City resident walked into the Maryland Lottery Winner’s Circle with a huge smile after claiming a $20,200 prize on the 2020 Cash scratch-off.
The 57-year-old, who works for the State of Maryland, is only the third top-prize winner in the $20 game. As he left the room, the happy player told everyone he would “be back for the Mega Millions jackpot.” The jackpot is set for $208 million for the Friday, Nov. 22 drawing with a cash option of $141.1 million.
He found the lucky scratch-off at Royal Farms #066 at 9600 Pulaski Highway in Baltimore. The Baltimore County business is also a big winner. The Lottery retailer will receive $202, or 1 percent of the prize.
The $20 2020 Cash scratch-off went on sale on Nov. 18 loaded with more than $48 million in cash prizes! There are still 209 unclaimed $20,200 top prizes and 479 $2,020 second-tier prizes in addition to thousands of other prizes ranging from $20 to $220.
