Marylanders Enjoy Weekend of Five Big Wins Across the State

Lottery luck visits Powerball, FAST PLAY, Bonus Match 5 players

Maryland Lottery players have lots to celebrate after a weekend that delivered big wins in the Powerball, FAST PLAY Lucky Numbers and Bonus Match 5 games.

Many of our Powerball jackpot chasers won prizes ranging from $4 to $50,000. Although no one hit the jackpot, Maryland had 60,684 total winners in the Saturday, Oct. 2 drawing. The winning numbers to match were 28, 38, 42, 47 and 52; the Power Ball was 1 with a x2 Power Play multiplier.

Players bought two $50,000-winning Powerball tickets at these retailers:

  • Maiden Choice Liquors, 1064 Maiden Choice Lane in Baltimore (Baltimore City).
  • Towson Place Liquors, 1250 Putty Hill Avenue in Towson (Baltimore County).

The Powerball jackpot has rolled to $670 million for the Monday, Oct. 4 drawing with a cash option of $474.8 million. If won, this would be the sixth-largest jackpot in Powerball history and the eighth-largest jackpot in U.S. lottery history. Maryland has now sold 50 $50,000 third-tier winning Powerball tickets in 2021 along with a $731.1 million winning jackpot ticket, two $2 million winning tickets and three $1 million winning tickets.

The FAST PLAY Lucky Numbers game yielded its 17th progressive jackpot winner on Saturday, Oct. 2. A player bought the $161,313-winning ticket at Dash In #10881 located at 875 North Solomons Island Road in Prince Frederick (Calvert County). This $10 ticket has a progressive jackpot that starts at $100,000 and rises with each ticket sold until someone buys a progressive jackpot-winning ticket.

Bonus Match 5 players also won big, with two $50,000 top prizes in the Sunday, Oct. 3 drawing. Check your tickets for the winning numbers of 3, 7, 21, 24 and 38; the Bonus Ball was 17. The Lottery has now sold 38 top-prize winning Bonus Match 5 tickets in 2021. The retailers that sold these lucky tickets are:
