Masonry Supervisor Cements Lottery Winning Streak

Claims $20,000 prize playing Neon x20 scratch-off

206-Neon-x20-ITVMA Carroll County masonry supervisor whose Lottery wins keep piling up cemented his lucky streak with a $20,000 winning Neon x20 scratch-off.

The 60-year-old has won regularly in recent months. Whether he’s playing Keno, Racetrax or scratch-offs, which are his favorite Lottery game, the Westminster man keeps raking in the green. Those previous wins, however, pale in comparison to the $20,000 prize he just brought home.

“I’ve been winning a lot, which makes me love playing these tickets even more,” said the married father of three adult children. He plays almost every day, often stopping for a scratch-off on the way to each week’s work site. Winfield Liquors at 1707 West Liberty Road in Westminster was his latest lucky spot.

“I picked out Neon x20 yesterday morning sort of out of the blue,” the loyal player said. “I’ve played it before and there were newer games there, but for some reason I chose it.”

The lucky man uncovered the prize on the $10 instant ticket while talking with the store owner. “I was pretty excited, couldn’t really believe it,” he said. “The owner was shocked, too. He was pretty pleased.”

His wife is overjoyed. “She was happier than I was, I think.” The couple celebrated the win and shared news of his good fortune with their family. Taking care of family bills is his top priority for the prize followed by having additional fun on an excursion. “We have a trip planned soon,” he said. “I imagine we’ll be having a little better time traveling than we thought.”

The Neon x20 game has four $100,000 top prize tickets awaiting discovery as well as another four $20,000 winners.
