Mega Win for Baltimore Woman

Wins $100,000 Playing Instant Mega Millions/Powerball Scratch-Off

Stephanie Carr - Mega MillionsAs he often does, Mike Slemp stopped at a 7-Eleven recently to purchase coffee, and decided to buy his wife, Stephanie Carr, some Lottery tickets. His decision to purchase two Instant Mega Millions/Powerball scratch-offs paid off when he and his wife scratched their way to a $100,000 top prize.

That evening, Mike gave Stephanie, an Art Director, one of the scratch-off tickets and kept one for himself. She scratched the first row one number at a time, revealing no matches.  The first number in the second row, 23, matched one of her winning numbers.  Although Stephanie knew that meant she had a winner, she was shocked to see $100,000 under the number.

The happy couple plans to pay bills, save for the future, and take a trip to somewhere warm. The winning ticket was sold at 7-Eleven, located at 1020 Park Ave. in Baltimore.

The Instant Mega Millions/Powerball scratch-off still has one $100,000 top-prize remaining.  Along with cash prizes, players can win a quick pick Mega Millions ticket with Megaplier and a Powerball ticket with Power Play.
