$700,000 Jackpot Win is Game’s Eighth This Year
Jackpot luck has descended upon Maryland once again. For the eighth time this year – two more already that in all of 2010 – the Lottery’s Multi-Match game has delivered a jackpot win, this time in Pasadena. Last night’s $700,000 win comes on the heels of a half-a-million-dollar win in Prince George’s County last month.
This latest winning ticket was purchased from 177 Liquors, 2903 Mountain Road in Pasadena. The winning numbers were 02-06-22-29-31-32. The winner has 181 days to claim the prize.
According to lottery officials, fourteen of the last fifteen jackpot wins in Maryland have been courtesy of Multi-Match, the lone exception a $108.8 million Powerball win earlier this year. “Multi-Match doesn’t get the attention that Powerball and Mega Millions do because of the sizes of their jackpots,” reported Carole Everett, the Lottery’s Communications Director. “But eight jackpot wins so far this year will hopefully push it into the spotlight.”
