“I’ve been working two jobs, maybe now I can quit one” said the 26-year-old winner of a $30,000 scratch-off prize. She was busy entertaining herself with some scratch-offs last week when she won on the $3 ticket, Cash Lines.
Liudmila Khokha was on a bit of a roll when she won the prize. She first bought a $1 scratch-off and won $5. She then bought a $2 scratch-off and won $10. The lucky player in turn bought the Cash Lines ticket and won $30,000. “I bought three of those and it was the last one I scratched,” she said. To make sure it was a winner she asked the cashier to verify it for her. Liudmila then called her boyfriend to share the news. “I thought she made a mistake,” said the boyfriend. “She had to come show me in person.”
The lucky winner plans to save the winnings for school and said she may quit one of her jobs. She works as a waitress in Ocean City. This is not the first win for the lucky player. She recently won $2,600 playing Pick 4 in March. The winning Cash Lines ticket was purchased at the 7-11 #24093 located at 9494 Coastal Highway in Ocean City.
