Players advised to hold on to their tickets
The official results of the Aug. 23 Powerball and Double Play drawings have been delayed while several lotteries across the country complete required security protocols. Players are advised to hold on to their tickets, and that we are working to enable ticket checking and cashing as soon as possible.
The winning numbers for both the Powerball and Double Play drawings are available on the Maryland Lottery’s website, and videos of both drawings are available on Powerball’s website and its YouTube channel.
Powerball has strict security requirements that must be met before and after each drawing by all 48 lotteries that sell tickets for the game. These requirements must be met by all lotteries in order to produce official drawing results, for winning tickets to be cashed, and in order to calculate the next estimated jackpot.
