Owings Mills Store Sells $1.2 Million Multi-Match Jackpot Winner

Happy days are here for a lucky Multi-Match player! Check your tickets because someone bought a $1.2 million jackpot-winning ticket in Baltimore County for the Thursday, Dec. 13 drawing.

The winner, who is the fifth player to hit a Multi-Match jackpot in 2018, can choose between the $1.2 million annuity and an estimated $850,000 cash option (before taxes). The winning ticket with the numbers 8, 21, 28, 29, 35, and 43 came from 7-Eleven #34324 at 8890 McDonogh Road in Owings Mills.

Lottery officials encourage the winner to sign the back of the ticket immediately and keep it in a safe location. The winner has 182 days to claim the prize in person at Lottery headquarters located at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore.

The lucky retailer will receive a $1,200 bonus for selling the winning ticket. Multi-Match, Maryland’s jackpot game, made its debut in February 2006, and the top three jackpot prizes it has produced were $4.8 million on Sept. 19, 2009; $4.45 million on March 18, 2010 and $3.8 million on Dec. 16, 2010.

Each $2 Multi-Match ticket includes three lines of six numbers from 1 to 43. The Lottery draws six winning numbers every Monday and Thursday night. Players match between three and five numbers on any one line to win up to $1,000. Match between five and 18 numbers total on all three lines combined to win up to $2,000 more. To win the jackpot, players must match all six winning numbers on a single line. The overall chances of winning a prize are 1 in 8.5.
