Prizes of $10,000 claimed in past week at Maryland Lottery HQ
Four Maryland Lottery players — one each from Bethesda, Elkton, Glenarden and Virginia — claimed prizes of $10,000 at Lottery headquarters in Baltimore last week.
A 39-year-old woman from Bethesda claimed a $10,000 prize Feb. 8 on the $20 Max A Million scratch-off game. She bought her winning ticket at the Giant grocery #132 at 10400 Old Georgetown Road in Bethesda.
A 25-year-old woman from Elkton claimed a Keno prize of $10,012 Feb. 4 after winning a six-spot bet with the Super Bonus option. She bought the winning ticket at Wesley’s, 3700 Telegraph Road in Elkton. For selling a winning Keno ticket of $10,000 or more, the retailer receives a bonus of $100.12, equal to 1 percent of the prize.
A player from the Landover area community of Glenarden picked up a $10,000 prize Feb. 8 on the $5 scratch-off game Deluxe Crossword. The winning ticket came from Giant grocery #336 at 2900 University Boulevard West in Wheaton.
The Virginia winner hails from Bremo Bluff. The 35-year-old claimed a $10,000 prize Feb. 5 on the $10 scratch-off game $100,000 Crossword. He bought the winning ticket at Drive-In Liquor, 10620 Crain Highway in the Charles County community of Faulkner.
