Prince Frederick Retailer Sells $50,000 Bonus Match 5 Ticket

Lucky Calvert County ticket marks second Bonus Match 5 top prize this week

This is not an April Fools’ Day prank, Maryland! We really do have a second Bonus Match 5 winner this week. The Maryland Lottery is looking for the lucky player holding a $50,000 winning ticket from the Thursday, March 31 drawing. The winner found Lottery luck waiting at the Good Day Market, located at 1701 Dares Beach Road in Prince Frederick.

The winning ticket matches the five numbers of 3, 6, 22, 24 and 30; the Bonus Ball was 12. Lottery officials urge the winner to sign the back of the ticket and put it in a safe place. The winner has 182 days to claim the prize and must come in person to Lottery headquarters at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore.

The Calvert County retailer is also a winner. The Lottery will give the Good Day Market a bonus of $500 for selling the lucky ticket. The earlier win this week took place in the March 29 drawing and the winning ticket was sold at Post Road Liquors at 1123 Revolution Street in Havre de Grace.

Bonus Match 5 drawings take place seven days a week. Players select five numbers ranging from 1 to 39. The Bonus Ball drawn from the remaining 34 numbers provides extra chances to win. Your ticket is a winner if you match five, four or three of the original five winning numbers selected in the drawing. If you match the Bonus Ball number, you only need to match four, three or two of your original numbers to win!
