Happy winner finds Lottery luck with Superfecta Box wager
Those ever-popular 9, 10, 11 and 12 Racetrax horses did it again!
A lucky Gaithersburg man was all smiles at Maryland Lottery headquarters on Friday after claiming his $61,155.30 prize. The 57-year-old placed a 20-draw Superfecta Box wager on those four horses. To his surprise, they crossed the finish line together in the eighth race.
The lucky player also helped his Lottery retailer earn a bonus for selling a winning Racetrax ticket of $10,000 or more. Sagar Beer & Wine located at 615 South Frederick Avenue in Gaithersburg earns a $611.55 bonus, which is equal to 1 percent of the prize.
