Player claims $27,071.80 prize on Racetrax Superfecta Box bet
While shooting a game of billiards, a Baltimore man decided to switch gears and try his luck with a few rounds of Racetrax. The 53-year-old played three games and enjoyed a big payday with a $27,071.80 prize on his first race.
The happy man found Lottery luck at Full House Saloon located at 2311 Sparrows Point Road in Baltimore. That’s his favorite spot for shooting pool and playing the Lottery’s computer-animated horseracing game. He occasionally plays Keno if there is a special promotion.
“I was mad that I didn’t bet $1 instead of only 10 cents,” the winner said. He placed a Superfecta Box wager that horses number 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 would come in first, second, third and fourth place in any order.
The loyal Lottery player has worked in security for nine years and is a married father of one. What will he do with his prize? So far, he plans to go on a fishing trip and pay bills with his winnings.
Full House Saloon will also share in the big win. The lucky Baltimore County retailer earns a $270 bonus for selling a winning Racetrax ticket of $10,000 or more.
