Wins first $1 million top prize on Lucky 7s Game Book
A seven-night cruise vacation to the Western Caribbean, $10,000, $5,000. Bryan Caperones can now add $1 million to his long list of Lottery prize winnings. The lifelong Mechanicsville resident purchased his $1 million Lucky 7s Game Book last night.
“Something told me to go to Fred’s Liquors to buy my tickets,” said the 35-year-old. “I even pulled into the parking lot of a nearby gas station, but never even got out of the car when I drove over to Fred’s instead. I can’t explain it — something was pulling me there.”

Bryan, who has been employed as an elevator technician for 17 years, won $25 on the Game Book he initially purchased. He then decided to buy another one, which was the million-dollar winner. He immediately began shaking and took the ticket to the Lottery terminal to confirm the win.
“I can’t believe how lucky I have been,” he said. Just last November, he and his wife enjoyed a first-class trip to Florida and a seven-night cruise, thanks to a prize he won on the Maryland Lottery’s Cruise for Cash scratch-off. That ticket and his $1 million Game Book were purchased at Fred’s Liquors in Charlotte Hall.
Bryan and his wife, parents to two-month-old and four-year-old sons, have big plans for his winnings. “As soon as I told my wife about the prize, she said she wanted to buy a beach house in Myrtle Beach,” the winner said. “As for me, I’ve always wanted a Dodge Viper and now I can afford it!”
The Lucky 7s Game Book consists of six $5 tickets for only $20. The scratch-off, which launched in late August, has five $1 million, four $50,000 and numerous other prizes remaining.
