Married mom from Windsor Mill finds luck with Trifecta bet
She’s back! The “Super Social Worker” of Windsor Mill just added an $11,009 prize from a Racetrax Trifecta wager to her growing list of 2019 Lottery wins.
The lucky player, who placed a 20-draw wager on May 31, bet that the 12, 11 and 4 horses would cross the finish line in that exact order. When they did, she returned to the Maryland Lottery this week to claim her prize.
This is the Baltimore County resident’s fifth five-figure win of 2019. The 47-year-old plays Keno, Multi-Match and Pick 4, but has said that Racetrax is her game of choice. A trio of big wins on April 26 gave “Super Social Worker” a total of $41,948. She placed three Trifecta bets for 20 drawings each at different times that day. The 12, 8 and 10 horses won $14,640 on two tickets while the 7, 10 and 12 horses brought home a $12,668 prize.
In May, “Super Social Worker” visited Lottery headquarters with a $15,951 winning Trifecta ticket. The married mother of two said she puts the bulk of her prizes into savings for a future family vacation to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. And she continues to enjoy playing Racetrax!
This time, her lucky retailer was Woodlawn Shell at 6600 Security Boulevard in Baltimore. For selling a winning Racetrax ticket of $10,000 or more, the Baltimore County retailer earns a bonus of $110.09 — equal to 1 percent of the prize.
“Super Social Worker” also benefited from a special Racetrax promotion running through June 9, 2019. Players will receive discounts of $1 to $5 on tickets purchased during the promotion, with a $1 discount on $6 tickets up to a $5 discount on tickets of $30 or more.
