Retailers in Oxon Hill, Easton Sell $50,000 Bonus Match 5 Winners

Lucky tickets sold in July 6 drawing

Two Bonus Match 5 players got lucky in the July 6 drawing, which produced $50,000 top-prize winners in Prince George’s and Talbot counties.

One of the winning tickets was sold at Al’s Beer & Wine, located at 6224 Oxon Hill Road in Oxon Hill. The other was sold at East End Liquors, located at 2 East Avenue in Easton. Both tickets matched the five winning numbers drawn on July 6, which were: 5, 18, 19, 35 and 36; the Bonus Ball number was 11.

Lottery officials urge the winners to sign the backs of the tickets and put them in safe places. Winners have 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize and must come in person to Lottery headquarters at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore.

The retailers are winners as well. The Lottery will give each retailer a bonus of $500 for selling the top-prize-winning tickets.

Bonus Match 5 drawings take place seven days a week. Players select five numbers ranging from 1 to 39. The Bonus Ball drawn from the remaining 34 numbers provides extra chances to win. Your ticket is a winner if you match five, four or three of the original five winning numbers selected in the drawing. If you match the Bonus Ball number, you only need to match four, three or two of your original numbers to win. Matching all five of the winning numbers wins the top prize of $50,000.
