Wins $20,000 prize on $100,000 Gold Rush scratch-off
A lucky Baltimore retiree is still in shock after stumbling across a $20,000 winning nugget on the $100,000 Gold Rush scratch off.
The 75-year-old, who plays Lottery scratch-offs and terminal games regularly, visited the A & L Liquor Store located at 452 N. Patterson Park Avenue in Baltimore and purchased one $100,000 Gold Rush instant ticket. She scratched it off and, doubting her vision, immediately called her brother to help confirm her win.
“I still won’t believe it until I receive my check,” the loyal player said.
The lucky lady is a 14-year retiree with Baltimore City. The mother of three has five grandchildren as well as several siblings. Being the matriarch of her family, the winner’s first priority for her prize is taking care of family members and then she’ll deposit the rest into savings.
This $10 game still has plenty of prizes remaining including three $100,000 top prizes, four more $20,000 prizes and 10 of the $10,000 prizes.
