Claims $100,000 win on Bingo X10 game

A Baltimore City man is $100,000 richer and “On the Road Again” after purchasing a Bingo X10 scratch-off this week.

His wife’s birthday was one of the five lucky numbers on one of the game’s bingo cards that gave the retired U.S. Army veteran the third top prize awarded in the $10 game. “I can’t believe I won this much money,” he said. “This is a lot!”

The happy player found his lucky scratch-off at Baltimore County retailer Narmda at Mini Stop. “This definitely gives me enough to pay off my truck and get back to traveling,” he said, choosing the nickname “On the Road Again” for Lottery publicity.

The loyal player said he normally wins less than $5,400 on the Pick 3, Racetrax or Keno games. When he revealed this win on his scratch-off, the 69-year-old called his two daughters to come to his house to look at the instant ticket and confirm his big win. He then signed the back of the scratch-off and put it in a safe place until he could claim his prize at Lottery headquarters in Baltimore.

This lucky game is still packed with unclaimed prizes. Players can search for four more $100,000 top prizes, 10 $10,000 prizes and hundreds of thousands of others ranging from $10 to $1,000. The game went on sale at Lottery retailers on June 24.

The lucky Lottery retailer that sold the winning scratch-off shares in the celebration. Narmda at Mini Stop located at 2413 Sparrows Point Road in Baltimore earns a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery for selling a top-prize winning scratch-off in the game.
