Casino Royale scratch-off yields big win

One week after revealing his $100,000 win, a Riverdale man claims his Casino Royale scratch-off prize. After purchasing the ticket last Monday, the 43-year-old immediately scratched it in the parking lot of the store.  Once he saw the three gold bars on the ticket, he realized he had won big.

The construction worker wanted to claim the prize that day, but first had to stop by MVA to straighten out a few things.  It wasn’t until a week later that he found himself heading to the Claims Center in Baltimore. “I was very anxious to get my money,” said the married father-of-three.  “I couldn’t believe I had to wait until after I went to MVA.”

The lucky winner plans to tell his wife the good news tonight during a special dinner. With his winnings, he plans to pay off his house, take a vacation and save the rest.  The winning ticket was purchased at Langley Park Beer and Wine, located at 1401 University Blvd in Hyattsville.
