Wicomico County man wins $50,000 on $3 quick-pick bet
An infrequent Keno player stopped by the Chicken Man Food Store in Salisbury and left $50,000 richer!
The Salisbury man placed a $3 quick-pick 8-spot wager, randomly receiving the numbers 4, 8, 19, 29, 42, 47, 50 and 64. The retiree added the Super Bonus multiplier feature to increase his payout on the bet. The following day, the lucky Wicomico County resident checked his ticket against the winning numbers for his game and saw that he hit it big! His game carried a 5X Super Bonus multiplier, too, which boosted his prize to five figures.
The 86-year-old was in high spirits as he left Lottery headquarters in Baltimore and headed home to the Eastern Shore.
His lucky retailer, Chicken Man Food Store, is also a winner. For selling a winning Keno ticket of $10,000 or more, the Prince George’s County retailer located at 824 Snow Hill Road earned a bonus of $500. The bonus is equal to 1 percent of the prize.
With classic Keno, players have the chance to win $100,000 on a single dollar play. Details on how to play are located HERE. Keno Super Bonus gives players the chance to multiply their winnings by up to 20 times and guarantees players at least double their winning payouts.
