Super Bonus Crossword Scratch-off Delivers Two $50,000 Wins

Super Bonus CrosswordTwo men, from different parts of the state who don’t know each other, were linked today when they visited Lottery Headquarters, linked in the happiest of ways.  They each came here for the same purpose, held in their hand the same item and left with the same look on their face.  The Baltimore County business owner and the Charles County Defense Department contractor both played the Super Bonus Crossword instant game earlier this week and each will start the weekend with an extra $50,000 in their wallets.

Danilo Reyes of La Plata stopped by his local retailer, Lady’s Liquors at 6474 Crain Highway, to pick-up his Super Bonus Crossword ticket.  Maybe a win will cheer up my wife, he thought.  She was home sick in bed at the time.  “I scratched it there in the parking lot and had to check it four or five times.  I couldn’t believe my eyes.”  Mr. Reyes drove straight home to surprise his wife.  “It worked,” he assured officials, “she was happy, smiling, she almost jumped out of bed.”  The winnings will go toward their daughters’ college bills and some home improvement projects.  The Red Cross will see some of it, too.

Today’s Baltimore County winner is a Keno man, he rarely plays scratch-offs.  On a whim he picked up a Super Bonus Crossword ticket and scratched it as he played Keno at the Paradise Minimart at 6214 Eastern Avenue in Baltimore.  “It took me a few minutes to realize I’d won,” he admitted.  The husband and father of two has no immediate plans for the winnings, but the fact that he is a husband and father of two should take care of that.
