Scratch-off and Mega Millions Winners Claim $10,000 Prizes

Four winners visited Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore in the past several days to claim $10,000 prizes.

Two of five Mega Millions panels on a ticket purchased Aug. 17 by an Annapolis man at Pantry 1 Food Mart, 1090 Spa Road, in Annapolis hit for $10,000 and $2, respectively, in the drawing held the same day. Four of five white balls, as well as the Mega Ball, matched the winning numbers for a $10,000 win and just the Mega Ball matched for the $2 win. The winner claimed the prize on Aug. 31.

A winning WILLY WONKA GOLDEN TICKETTM worth $10,000 and purchased at Wawa #8513 at 1001 W. Patrick Street in Frederick was claimed Sept. 4 at Lottery headquarters. The lucky winner is a Frederick woman. Two of eight $100,000 top prizes remain in the $10 game, along with numerous other prizes ranging from $10 to $10,000.

A Washington, D.C., player picked up a $2 Heads or Tails scratch-off at KLB Convenience Store at 55-57 Kettering Drive in Largo for a $10,000 payday. The player scored the first of nine top prizes on the ticket, and claimed the prize Sept. 7 at Lottery headquarters. Tens of thousands of additional prizes ranging from $2 to $10,000 remain.

Next, a Rockville man claimed a $10,000 prize Sept. 7 at Lottery headquarters on the $200,000 Jackpot game. The lucky ticket came from Filippo’s Italian Specialties at 11224 Triangle Lane in Wheaton. Two of five $200,000 top prizes have yet to be claimed, along with tens of thousands of other prizes ranging from $10 to $100,000.
